Job summary

Valiant Residential in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Assistant Community Manager who supports the Community Manager in running the property, assists with leasing, marketing, and resident relations, and maintains financial records.

You will process applications, greet prospects, update reports, handle renewals, and coordinate with maintenance, ensuring policy compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Spanish language ability a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Apartment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc.).
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit in accordance with procedures.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow up on renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Accept rental payments and pass to the Community Manager.
• Type lease and input information in the system accurately and timely.
• Assist with lease preparation, signing, and administration.
• Coordinate with maintenance regarding service requests.
