Job summary

Valiant Residential in Dallas, TX is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day operations of the apartment community and implement company policies, ensuring a well-managed and compliant property. You will lead on-site staff, manage budgets, coordinate leasing, and maintain records while delivering excellent resident service.

A college degree and CAM/ARM certifications are preferred, with Fair Housing certification required before interacting with prospects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification required before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations; evening/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Provide staff support to encourage teamwork and maintain timely HR processes (evaluations, salary reviews).
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate records (rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-ins/move-outs, accounts payable).
• Prepare annual budgets and ensure rents and late fees are collected and deposited timely.
• Review, code, and approve invoices; make daily bank deposits.
• Oversee leasing practices; maximize occupancy; supervise Leasing staff.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and prepare property for inspections.
