Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations, ensuring policy implementation and regulatory compliance. The role oversees leasing, budgets, vendor coordination, and staff development to maintain a well-run, compliant property.

The candidate will lead leasing teams, manage finances, and ensure a safe, well-maintained community while upholding company standards and a strong customer service culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before applicant interaction.
• OSHA knowledge; ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software applications.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and maintain a harmonious environment; manage routine personnel processes.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; ensure rents and fees are collected.
• Review, code, and approve invoices; make daily bank deposits.
• Ensure property is rented to its fullest capacity; oversee leasing teams.
• Oversee leasing policies, applications, verifications, and notifications.
• Maintain resident files, move-ins/outs, and move-in sheets.
