Job summary

Asset Living in Lupton City, TN, seeks a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will manage staff, leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with Asset’s policies and fair housing guidelines.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred) with CAM/ARM preferred. You will lead budgeting, marketing plans, resident relations, and emergency response,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges
• Monitor vendor invoices and property financial reports
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies
• Handle resident complaints and retention programs
• Plan resource use and ensure timely repairs and safety
