Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration and risk management on-site.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience, or an equivalent combination. CAM/ARM preferred. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years housing industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of the housing community under supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and development.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts; monitor deposits and rent collections.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
• Head emergency response for the property and maintain timely maintenance and leasing reporting.
