North Shore Gardens is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in a fast-paced apartment community in New York. You will partner with the Community Manager to lead daily operations, drive leasing, and ensure financial performance while delivering exceptional resident service.

The role combines hands-on leadership with administrative duties, offering growth within property management and exposure to marketing, reporting, and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of residential leasing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain lease terms clearly and sell community features.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and present the community.
• Process rental applications and secure deposits per policy.
• Close sales and ensure accurate lease documentation and system sync.
• Orient new residents and ensure move‑in readiness.
• Maintain daily operations, financial records, and reporting.
• Drive marketing efforts and monitor occupancy performance.
• Manage renewals, retention, and delinquency tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
