Job summary

Rose Associates is seeking a skilled Community Manager to lead leasing, resident relations, and financial performance across our multifamily properties in New York. The role requires collaboration with upper management, onsite teams, and external partners to maximize occupancy and asset value while ensuring service excellence.

You will supervise Resident Managers and leasing staff, coordinate maintenance programs, and prepare operating budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of multifamily community management experience.
• Proficiency with community management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of marketing, budgeting and GAAP.
• Valid NY real estate license or ability to obtain one within 120 days.
• Work authorization and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing activity and improve occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Lead and schedule Resident Managers, office, building, and leasing staff.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts and monthly variance reports; analyze income/expenses.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor management and capital improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely lease processing and enforcement.
• Build relationships with residents and partners to drive retention and quality service.
