Job summary

Westshore is seeking an Assistant Community Manager (MIT) to lead leasing efforts and support daily operations of the community. You will greet prospects, demonstrate model units, and drive applications while collaborating with the Community Manager to ensure financial performance and resident satisfaction.

You will oversee move-in readiness, coordinate with maintenance, and help implement marketing plans to maintain occupancy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two or more years of residential leasing experience preferred.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leasing and closing ability with strong organization and follow-through.
• Comfortable with telephone systems, Microsoft Office, and property management software.
• Leadership experience and financial acumen.
• Able to explain lease terms clearly and sell the community features and services.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a golf cart on property if required.
• Flexible schedule that may include occasional evenings, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and present the community.
• Close sales and secure applications and deposits.
• Process rental applications and obtain final approvals.
• Maintain communication with applicants and re-engage non-closers.
• Prepare and proof leases; ensure documentation and system sync.
• Orient new residents to the community.
• Inspect move‑in readiness and coordinate with maintenance.
