westshore is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in a hands-on MIT role to drive daily operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. You will partner with the Community Manager to lead leasing activities, move‑in readiness, and community marketing while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

The role emphasizes leadership, team collaboration, and proactive service in a fast-paced property setting with opportunities for growth within property management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two+ years residential leasing experience preferred.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leasing and closing ability with strong organization.
• Comfortable with telephone systems, Microsoft Office, and property management software.
• Leadership experience and financial acumen.
• Able to explain lease terms clearly and sell community features and services.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a golf cart if required.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and present the community.
• Process rental applications and deposits per policy and Fair Housing rules.
• Show model apartments and communicate features/benefits; close leases.
• Maintain leases, documentation, and software synchronization.
