Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing daily operations and financial tasks. The role emphasizes strong customer service, leasing activities, and coordinating with vendors to keep the community welcoming and well-managed.

The ideal candidate has 6 months in property management, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous, responsive service.
• Collect monies due; oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs; walk units to verify occupancy.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes as needed.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files; input data into property management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and collect deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and current market conditions.
