Job summary

Fairstead seeks a skilled Community Manager to oversee daily on-site operations at one of our properties. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage tenant relations, and supervise maintenance and vendor activities to uphold performance standards.

You will lead safety and audit processes, coordinate with the Compliance Department, and support budgeting and reporting for the property. A strong background in affordable housing and existing certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned property and ensure on-site compliance.
• Adhere to HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA requirements and HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor bids, and inspections to meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare and respond to regulatory agency requests with the Compliance Department.
• Monitor budgets, catch-up monthly financials, and assist with financial reporting.
