Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a skilled Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and on-site compliance at a designated property. The role includes coordinating with Compliance, handling tenant concerns, and ensuring high performance across all regulatory requirements.

You will manage monthly budgets, supervise maintenance, and work with construction teams to address unit renovations while keeping occupancy and tenant satisfaction as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with EIV systems is expected.
• Yardi and RealPage experience are preferred.
• MS Office proficiency is expected.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Maintain HUD 4350.3 Handbook knowledge and compliance.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies with Compliance.
• Lead interventions with regional managers for non-compliant tenants.
• Prepare REAC, MOR, LIHTC reviews and recertifications.
• Assist tenants with requests and maintain tenant relations.
• Monitor arrears and litigation; document lease violations.
• Direct collection of rents and process delinquencies through actions.
