Job summary

Fairstead seeks a seasoned Community Manager to lead property operations at a multi-building portfolio. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage tenant relations, and supervise maintenance and budgeting efforts.

You’ll collaborate with Compliance, construction teams, and regional leadership to sustain occupancy, safety, and performance across communities. Strong experience in affordable housing and property management is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of management experience including supervising a team in property management, hospitality, retail or similar.
• COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) or CPO (Certified Professional of Occupancy) certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• TCS certification for tax credit properties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Coordinate with Compliance Dept and Regional Managers on regulatory matters.
• Prepare REAC reviews, MORs, LIHTC reviews and recertifications.
• Oversee tenant requests, arrears, and evictions processes.
• Direct collection of rents, processing applications and delinquencies.
