Job summary

UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance person for our River Bluff Estates Community to provide groundskeeping, repairs, and general maintenance for community homes and lots.

The job requires a valid drivers license, experience in home repairs and equipment operation, and the ability to work independently or in a team in all weather. This is a full-time role with potential overtime and growth opportunities within a growing portfolio of eleven states.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• Broad range of experience in home repairs, general plumbing and grounds maintenance.
• Operation of heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• Snow plow experience is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize safety and complete periodic safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Drive UMH vehicles to inspect common areas.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Maintain community grounds and sidewalks, including snow removal.
• Keep work areas clean and safe, manage waste and spills.
• Log all work performed and follow safety procedures.
