Job summary

RHP Properties, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Riverside community near Glendale, UT, who will perform general grounds and lawn maintenance, as well as basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will maintain homes and common areas, execute work orders, and interact with residents in a courteous manner. Must have 2+ years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Promote goodwill by courteous interaction with residents, prospective residents, visitors and staff.
• Identify deficiencies using established procedures and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds: weed control, landscaping, mulching, trimming, and general lawn care.
• Perform seasonal pre-maintenance service and on-call duties as needed.
• Refurbish Community Owned homes and maintain water and sewer lines.
