Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Milpitas, CA to drive leasing, marketing and positive resident relations across its community. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, present model apartments and process applications while upholding Fair Housing and company policies.

The role requires exceptional customer service, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Greet and qualify all prospects; demonstrate models; close the sale; process applications; renewals follow-up.
• Administrative: Type leases; input information in Yardi; maintain files and notices; track commissions.
• Resident Retention: address requests and concerns; coordinate maintenance; communicate with management; host resident events.
