Job summary

RPM Living in Terrell, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations at one of our apartment communities. You will assist with leasing, marketing, resident relations, and maintaining financial records while helping the Property Manager meet occupancy and budget goals.

This role requires 2+ years of tax credit and multi-family property management experience, knowledge of HUD rules, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years tax credit experience.
• Related multi-family property management experience.
• HUD rules and regulations for low-income housing.
• Experience with OneSite software a plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills are essential.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs marketing and leasing functions to maintain budgeted or greater occupancy for the property.
• Implements effective resident retention programs, such as move-in and service follow up.
• Maintains good resident relations and responds to resident concerns to avoid escalation.
• Collect rents and make daily deposits and reconciliations monthly.
• Enforce rent collection policy.
• Responsible for processing invoices.
• Monitor renewals and distribute/ follow up on renewal notices.
• Prepare move-in paperwork and ensure compliance with housing regulations and policies.
• Produce monthly reports for the Property Manager.
