Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee a multifamily apartment community, leading staff, managing budgets, and driving occupancy and revenue goals. The role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and effective communication to maintain high service standards.

You will collaborate with maintenance, HR, and marketing to implement leasing strategies, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience in property management
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player with professional and effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, interview candidates, oversee onboarding, training, and annual assessments
• Drive team performance, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork and safety
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting and variance analysis
• Promote resident satisfaction and respond to complaints and requests
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service requests and standards
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high resident service standards
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing to guide leasing strategies
