Job summary

IWG plc operates a network of flexible workspaces and is seeking a Community Associate in Des Moines, IA. You will support daily center operations, assist customers, and help plan events that foster the local coworking community.

You’ll coordinate with clients, set up spaces and A/V when needed, and handle inquiries while ensuring accurate billing for services. A friendly, proactive approach will help you thrive in this customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem solving and ownership of issues
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests
• Comfort with MS Office and basic IT tools
• Legally eligible to work in the United States and 18+ years old

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and customers at the center.
• Maintain smooth daily operations and assist with administrative tasks.
• Set up meeting spaces, projectors, and coffee areas as needed.
• Process invoices and ensure accurate service charges for all center services.
• Plan and promote local networking events for community members.
• Support ticketing in the service portal and coordinate with City Manager.
