Decatur Family YMCA is seeking an evening/front-desk associate to support membership operations and member services. You will greet members, handle check-ins, provide program information, and assist with sales while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent degree required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Excellent personal computer skills with proper keyboarding and 10-key experience.
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 10-key.
• Highly attentive to detail.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide a welcoming front-desk presence.
• Maintain membership operations including check-in, receipts, access control, tours, and reception tasks.
• Become knowledgeable about YMCA programs, fees, and fee structure to provide accurate information.
• Serve as a YMCA membership sales representative to encourage membership purchases and usage.
• Maintain a positive, organized work environment and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
