Job summary

Acme Residential is seeking a Community Director for Red Coach Village, Springfield, OH. You will lead onsite staff, drive occupancy, manage budgets, and uphold property standards to deliver exceptional living experiences.

You will report to the Regional Director, build a high-performing team, partner across leasing, maintenance, and admin, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws while achieving revenue targets and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing onsite teams.
• Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and Rent Café CRM.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and state/local regulations.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage vendors, budgets, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Ownership mindset; treat the community as your own business.
• Experience with distressed or value-add properties a plus.
• Minimal travel required for onboarding and occasional training.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite team development and set performance expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations and leasing performance.
• Drive resident satisfaction through service and relationships.
• Oversee unit turns, inspections, and property standards.
• Review lease files, move-ins/outs, and audits for accuracy.
• Address resident concerns with professional problem-solving.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, and financial reporting.
• Manage vendor relations, contracts, and invoices.
• Support marketing, pricing strategies, and occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and regulations.
