Job summary

Acme Residential is expanding in Oakland County, MI, seeking a Community Director to oversee all on-site operations, drive occupancy, financial performance, and team leadership. You will manage staff, coordinate leasing, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws while partnering with the Regional Director for strategic execution.

The role emphasizes strong supervision, customer focus, and operational excellence across maintenance, marketing, and reporting to support sustained growth in the MI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred for the role.
• Minimum 3+ years in multi-family residential property management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with MS Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager and/or Rent Café CRM.
• 3+ years of budget and financial management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and local/state compliance.
• Experience managing distressed properties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate and oversee all on-site employees.
• Lead community operations and supervise staff to meet financial goals.
• Oversee lease renewals and notices to residents.
• Perform general office duties and lease compliance.
• Maintain and enforce safety, curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Lead marketing, advertising and resident events.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Ensure rent collection and apply notices per local laws.
• Coordinate with regional director and maintenance teams.
