Job summary

The City of Plymouth is seeking a Plymouth Community Center Building Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise part-time staff, and ensure excellent service for facility users, rentals, and programs.

The role covers the playground, gym, fieldhouse, and room rentals; you will open/close the building, handle deposits and reports, and coordinate events while keeping a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: 18+, High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year customer service experience, 6 months supervisory experience, ability to work independently, availability to work nights and weekends, ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Plymouth Community Center in the absence of a full-time staff.
• Manage part-time building staff, ensuring tasks are completed per policies.
• Serve as on-site contact for customers, parties, programs, and rentals; resolve conflicts professionally.
• Open and close the building as scheduled; answer phones courteously.
• Handle end-of-day deposits and financial reports.
• Oversee daily event schedule and room setups to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all users.
• Assist full-time supervisory staff with rentals, events, programs, or projects.
• Support AV setup, cleaning, special events, and other PCC operations as needed.
• Supervise all events and rentals in the building.
