Job summary

City of Mason is seeking a part-time Facilities Supervisor to oversee the Mason Community Center operations and staff, ensuring smooth openings, closings, and program delivery. You will manage guest services, registrations, tours, and rental transactions while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Candidate must have a high school diploma, CPR/AED/First Aid certifications, knowledge of recreational facility operations, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Acquire and maintain CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of operations and maintenance of a recreational facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Previous supervisory experience in a recreational setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility operations and staff in the absence of a supervisor.
• Coordinate opening, set-ups/teardowns, closing and securing of the MCC.
• Handle disciplinary cases with professional judgment.
• Oversee daily cash deposits and financial transactions.
• Perform hourly building walkthroughs and update area visit forms.
