Job summary

City of Concord is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate for the Parks & Recreation Department. You will supervise programs and rentals at the City Wide Community Center and Merrimack Lodge, manage front desk operations, and assist with room setups and cleaning.

The role requires excellent customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for periods.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Recreation, or Hospitality is preferred.
• Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
• Operator's License required.
• Youth and Adult CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in the general supervision of the city-wide Community Center, provides exceptional customer service.
• Supervises class registrations, uses computers, and handles cash transactions.
• Sets up and takes down for classes and public meetings.
• Performs minor cleaning of rooms and picks up trash as needed.
• Assists with securing the building at the end of day.
• Maintains inventory of all supplies required to perform the duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
