Job summary

Capital One is hiring a Café Ambassador in Tampa to be the face of our mission, guiding guests through digital banking in a high-energy, community-oriented setting. You’ll engage with customers, share product value, and help manage the guest experience with a focus on connection rather than sales targets.

You’ll also support local events, promote financial health, and assist customers with mobile tools, working within Capital One’s community programs and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• Associate’s degree
• 2+ years of banking experience
• 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
• Proficient in G‑Suite
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector in a high-energy community space (not a barista).
• Serve as a Brand Advocate and discuss Capital One products through conversation.
• Guide customers through our digital ecosystem and mobile tools.
• Host and support local events to promote financial health.
• Advocate for customers and assist with issue resolution in line with compliance.
