Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Service Experience Advisor, the first contact for technical service at Micro Center, located at the Knowledge Bar. This role blends basic technical understanding with interpersonal skills to guide service intake, recommend actions, and ensure confidence in the repair process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior technical experience required.
• Preference for candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, or retail experience.
• Ability to build rapport and explain services clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar.
• Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them through appropriate service solutions and offerings.
• Recommend value-added services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET, and other products in a consultative manner.
• Clearly communicate estimated pricing, timelines, and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to the appropriate service queues.
• Process service and point of sale transactions accurately and completely.
• Maintain minimum attachment rates and productivity standards.
• Stay informed of current promotions and attachment opportunities.
• Provide timely, professional updates to customers regarding service status.
• Obtain required certifications as directed by management.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace.
