Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Service Experience Advisor at the Knowledge Bar. This entry-level role blends basic technical understanding with strong interpersonal skills to guide customers through service intake and explain options, ensuring confidence in the repair process.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with performance-based pay and commissions. Responsibilities include greeting customers, identifying needs, recommending services like PriorityCare+, Data Backup, and ESET,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No technical experience is required.
• Candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, or retail experience are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and explain services clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar.
• Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them through appropriate service solutions and offerings.
• Recommend services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET, and other products in a consultative manner.
• Clearly communicate estimated pricing, timelines, and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to service queues.
• Process service and POS transactions accurately.
