Job summary

Everon in Peoria, AZ seeks a skilled field service technician to perform routine and emergency service calls on security systems, including intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control. You will troubleshoot, replace, repair equipment, document work performed, and support customers with system operation and safety compliance.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on short notice are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have three (3) or more years of experience.
• Must have mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Must have working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.
• Must have mastery knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Must have ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents service hours and task-related activities.
• Completes and submits required productivity and documentation.
