Job summary

Everon in Denver, CO seeks a Field Service Technician to perform routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and provide customer instruction on system operation.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems; a valid driver’s license; and the ability to read blueprints and work in demanding environments. On-call and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have three (3) or more years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.
• Mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoots, replaces, and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support and instruction on system operation.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory and organizes resources for efficient task execution.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities and documentation on time.
