Everon, a national security solutions provider, seeks a skilled Field Service Technician in Indianapolis to perform routine and emergency service on intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, test, and document service activities, while coaching junior staff when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Valid driver’s license and able to clear a drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls, troubleshooting, replacements and repairs.
• Proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Offers customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents service and hours worked.
• Completes required task-related activities and documentation timely.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Completes other projects as assigned.
