Job summary

Everon is seeking an experienced field technician to support routine and emergency service calls for security systems across commercial environments. You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment under supervision, ensuring high-quality customer support and system operation instruction.

Role requires mastery of intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems, along with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Five or more years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication/leadership skills.
• Knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls on monitored systems.
• Troubleshoots, replaces, and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others as needed.
• Provides reliable customer support and instruction on system operation.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Documents service hours and tasks accurately.
• Completes all required activity reports in a timely manner.
