Job summary

Johnson Controls Security in Livermore is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Executive to promote and sell security services and technology, manage new and existing accounts, and drive profitable growth for the business.

You will develop relationships, present to senior executives, and renew or upgrade contracts while maintaining product knowledge and ensuring post-install follow-up to maximize satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial sales in security/IT or related tech industries, proven quota attainment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology in an assigned territory.
• Create new market share by selling to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts with new opportunities.
• Renew existing customer agreements and upgrade as needed.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and customer needs through training and research.
• Obtain referrals and develop relationships with Centers of Influence.
• Handle paperwork and follow-up calls to ensure commitments are met.
