Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services within an assigned territory, building relationships and closing new business while ensuring customer retention.

You will act as a brand steward and demonstrate that Johnson Controls Security is a leading electronic security provider. The role requires understanding of the full product line, strong negotiation skills, and proactive post-install follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations
• Ability to work a full-time schedule
• Available for local travel

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Build relationships and close new business while ensuring customer retention.
• Serve as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward and demonstrate leadership of the security story.
• Identify prospects and create plans to grow market share in the local commercial segment.
• Renew and upsell existing customer agreements and coordinate post-install follow-ups.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services to address customer needs.
