Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Executive to promote and sell Security services and technology within an assigned territory. You will leverage relationships to close new business, renew existing agreements, and maximize customer satisfaction across Johnson Controls Security offerings.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial sales (security/IT or related tech) with quota achievement.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Johnson Controls Security policies and services.
• Create new market share by selling to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Renew existing customer agreements.
• Identify prospects and maintain relationships with customers.
• Establish call plans and follow-up strategies and tactics.
• Follow up with prospects.
• Maintain knowledge of product and service offerings.
• Obtain referrals through Centers of Influence.
• Process work orders and paperwork per procedures.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
