Job summary

Johnson Controls Security seeks a Commercial Sales Account Executive to promote and sell security services within an assigned territory, leveraging relationships and closing new business while maximizing retention.

You will be the brand steward, clearly demonstrating Johnson Controls Security as the leading electronic security provider and driving profitable upgrades for new and existing customers with post-install follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• Preferred College degree.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services within an assigned territory.
• Serve as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward to communicate the story and leadership in electronic security.
• Secure profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued Commercial customers; maximize customer retention.
• Identify prospects, develop call plans, follow-ups, and maintain productive relationships; complete paperwork per procedures.
