Job summary

Bank First in Cedarburg, Wisconsin is seeking a Loan Administration Specialist to support the loan application, documentation, and servicing process for commercial and agricultural clients.

You will partner with Relationship Managers, prep loan closings, verify eligibility, file maintenance, disbursements, and keep accurate records in the core system, ensuring compliance and high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in banking or loan administration.
• 2+ years financial institution experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with the loan application and approval process, including preparing and organizing documentation.
• Assist with loan closings as needed and verify proper loan approvals.
• Order certificates (flood, title, hazard insurance) and coordinate with clients or professionals.
• Verify entity names and collateral lien status, ensuring loan policy compliance.
• Review loan documents prior to closing for accuracy and consistency with approvals.
• Collaborate with Commercial Loan Processing and Servicing teams for data entry into the core system.
• Maintain and organize customer files and records with confidentiality.
• Handle loan disbursements, collect fees, and process invoices promptly.
• Assist with collecting and tracking financial statements and covenants.
