Job summary

Bank First is seeking a Business Service Representative to provide proactive, comprehensive customer care for commercial and agricultural clients. This role acts as a liaison among customers, relationship managers, and processing teams to coordinate loan-related actions and responses.

The BSR supports loan preparation, documentation, servicing, and interaction with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing while maintaining customer confidentiality and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent years of banking or loan administration experience is preferred.
• 2+ years financial institution experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Proficiency in loan administration software is a plus.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks from a variety of customers and bankers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with loan applications and approvals, including documentation and closings.
• Order certificates (flood, title, hazard insurance) and verify lien status.
• Review documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with Commercial Loan Processing and Servicing to enter terms correctly.
• Maintain and organize customer files with confidentiality.
• Handle loan disbursements, collect fees, and process invoices promptly.
• Assist with follow-up on outstanding loan documentation.
• Enter new loans into the bank's digital banking platform for online access.
