Job summary

Landmark Credit Union in Milwaukee, WI seeks a skilled professional to support commercial loan closings. You will act as a liaison among lenders, counsel, title companies, and internal teams to ensure accurate closing documents and timely processing.

Responsibilities include managing the closing pipeline, obtaining necessary documents, and reviewing packages for compliance while maintaining confidentiality and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in preparing/reviewing legal or financial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and systems related to documentation preparation or review.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, and organization.
• Knowledge of loan processing, real estate and commercial documentation preferred.
• Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use independent judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help people.
• Understand and comply with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates loan closing by liaising between lenders, counsel, title companies, and internal teams.
• Manages loan closing pipeline and communicates timelines with stakeholders.
• Requests supporting documents to verify compliance and updates as needed.
• Confirms title, vehicle and UCC searches and collateral position meet standards.
• Prepares checklists for ordering loan closing documents and due diligence.
• Reviews credit approval and closing package for accuracy and compliance.
• Attends in-house closings to support lenders/members and notaries; ensures proper signatures.
• Sends executed loan package to processing staff for booking and filing.
• Provides backup support to Processing Staff as required.
