Job summary

Landmark Credit Union in Wisconsin seeks a Consumer Post Closing Coordinator to review signed consumer loan documents before booking and to correct any errors. You will work with PFOs, title clerks, and processing teams to ensure accurate recording and timely disbursement of proceeds, and you will handle lien perfection on untitled collateral.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year in lending or financial services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic typing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the processing dashboard for loans to be booked and reviews documents for accuracy.
• Books loans once documents are properly signed and saved in the LOS; uploads checks.
• Collaborates with PFOs, Consumer Loan Specialists, and Title Clerks for missing documents or signatures.
• Coordinates with document preparation if corrections are needed after closing.
• Interfaces with underwriting or processing if issues arise in decisioning or stipulations.
• Distributes payoff letters and related checks to appropriate parties.
• Completes Uniform Commercial Code filings to place liens on collateral.
• Issues plates for private party purchases when needed.
• Handles follow-up for DMV docs, titles, and other documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
