Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business development.

You will coordinate day-to-day admin, client service requests, policy administration, billing and renewals, and work with carriers to secure favorable coverages. A current P&C license is required with CIC or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business and ensure account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Review policy expirations and renewals; negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Provide timely service and respond to client requests.
