Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, service requests, policy administration, billing, claims analysis, and renewals, while leading a team to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires 3+ years in account management or 5+ in insurance, an active P&C license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely completion of work.
• Communicate workload status to the team.
• Deliver proactive service and support branch goals.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
