Commercial Lines Account Manager (Large Lines-Remote in NY only)

Join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, focusing on large lines in a remote role based in NY. This position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

Manage a designated book of large lines insurance business, including policy renewals, coverage summaries, and processing insurance documents. Conduct consultative discussions with clients, build strong relationships, and handle renewals and cancellations efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage policy renewals, prepare coverage summaries, and process insurance documents promptly.
• Consult with clients to assess needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
• Maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Obtain renewal quotes, process renewals, and manage cancellations or non-renewals.
• Prepare marketing submissions for existing accounts.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Support team and agency growth through miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance customer service or account management.
• Experience with large commercial insurance lines.
• Active Property & Casualty License (all lines).
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Applied/EPIC preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• College degree or industry designations preferred.
