Commercial Lines Account Manager (Large Lines-Remote in NY only)

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated book of large lines business, including policy renewals, coverage summaries, binders, certificates, proposals, and insurance documents.
  • Conduct consultative discussions with clients to assess needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Obtain renewal quotes, process renewals, and handle cancellations or non-renewals as needed.
  • Prepare marketing submissions for existing accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Support team and agency growth through miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance customer service or account management.
  • Experience with large commercial insurance lines.
  • Active Property & Casualty License (all lines).
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Applied/EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional development commitment; college degree or industry designations preferred.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and strong customer service skills.
  • Effective prioritization and communication skills.
