Commercial Lines Account Manager (Large Lines-Remote in NY only)

Base Pay Range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated book of large lines business, including policy renewals, coverage summaries, binders, certificates, proposals, and documentation.
  • Conduct consultative discussions with commercial clients to assess needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Obtain renewal quotes, process renewals, and manage cancellations or non-renewals as needed.
  • Prepare marketing submissions for existing accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Support miscellaneous tasks to contribute to team and agency growth.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in insurance customer service or account management.
  • Experience with large commercial insurance lines.
  • Active Property & Casualty License (all lines).
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Applied/EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional development commitment; college degree or industry designations preferred.
  • Positive attitude and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and positive client experience focus.
  • Effective prioritization and communication skills, even under pressure.
