Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, support new business, and coordinate day-to-day service activities. The role emphasizes policy administration, renewals, billing, and client communications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle client requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms for accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and transparent workload communication.
• Deliver proactive service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement to boost team performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership within IOA
