Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a fully remote role. Candidates must hold a New York State Property and Casualty license and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

You will manage and grow a book of business, market renewal and new policies, and coordinate with carriers to secure favorable terms. Strong client service and AMS 360 proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience.
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets.
• AMS 360 knowledge/experience required.

Responsibilities

• Increase coverage for existing client books and add new insurance lines.
• Market new and renewal business to carriers.
• Maintain consistent client communication and relationships.
• Prepare renewal and new business applications and proposals.
• Identify exposures and recommend appropriate solutions.

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Position Description

This is is a fully and permanently remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere on the East Coast but must have a New York State Property and Casualty License and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Regional brokerage / insurance agency looking for an experienced commercial account manager. They provide a full range of insurance coverage and benefits programs offered by more than 30 national carriers.

Responsibilities

• Increasing current coverage or adding new coverage to the firm’s existing book of business.
• Marketing new and renewal business
• Positive consistent interaction with clients and markets
• Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals
• Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters
• Provide day to day client service

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience to be considered for this position
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Current NYS Property and Casualty license
• AMS 360 Software knowledge / experience is required

Compensation

Base salary up to $95,000 – commensurate with relevant skill set and experience.
