Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a fully remote role serving the down-state New York market. You will manage and grow a book of commercial business, coordinating with carriers and clients to deliver optimal coverage and service.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in insurance brokerage, NY license, and AMS 360 experience. East Coast residency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience.
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets.
• AMS 360 software knowledge/experience.
• Must reside on the East Coast.
• Familiarity with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Responsibilities

Overview

A regional insurance brokerage offering a full range of commercial coverage and benefits programs through more than 30 national carriers is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager. This fully remote role is central to managing and growing the firm's commercial book of business while delivering strong client service across the down-state New York market.

What you'll do

• Increase current coverage or add new coverage to the firm's existing book of business
• Market new and renewal business
• Maintain positive, consistent interaction with clients and markets
• Prepare renewal and new business applications and proposals

• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Current New York State Property and Casualty License
• Familiarity with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace
• AMS 360 software knowledge/experience required
• Must reside on the East Coast
