Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a fully remote role serving the down-state New York market. You will manage and grow a book of commercial business, coordinating with carriers and clients to deliver optimal coverage and service.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in insurance brokerage, NY license, and AMS 360 experience. East Coast residency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience.
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets.
• AMS 360 software knowledge/experience.
• Must reside on the East Coast.
• Familiarity with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Increase current coverage or add new coverage to the firm's existing book of business.
• Market new and renewal business.
• Maintain positive, consistent interaction with clients and markets.
• Prepare renewal and new business applications and proposals.
• Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters.
• Provide day-to-day client service.
