The role involves expanding coverage, marketing renewals, and providing day-to-day client service across a national book with multiple carriers. Remote work allows residence anywhere on the East Coast with licensing continuing to matter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of insurance brokerage experience.
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets.
• Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects.
• Current NYS Property and Casualty license.
• AMS 360 software knowledge/experience required.

Responsibilities

• Increase coverage or add new coverage to the existing book.
• Market new and renewal business.
• Maintain positive client and market interactions.
• Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals.
• Identify exposures and recommend solutions.
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters.
• Provide day-to-day client service.

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Position Description

This is is a fully and permanently remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere on the East Coast but must have a New York State Property and Casualty License and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Regional brokerage / insurance agency looking for an experienced commercial account manager. They provide a full range of insurance coverage and benefits programs offered by more than 30 national carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Increasing current coverage or adding new coverage to the firm’s existing book of business.
• Marketing new and renewal business
• Positive consistent interaction with clients and markets
• Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals
• Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters
• Provide day to day client service

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience to be considered for this position
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
• Current NYS Property and Casualty license
• AMS 360 Software knowledge / experience is required

Compensation:

Base salary up to $95,000 – commensurate with relevant skill set and experience.
